Warp

The OEM software, right next to the vehicle

An encrypted P2P tunnel that presents a virtual RP1210 interface, so OEM diagnostic software connects to a remote asset with no modifications and no physical adapter — and encapsulates RS-232 and RS-485 too.

A truck is stranded on the open highway: the particulate filter will not regenerate and the engine drops into limp mode. At a frac site a pump engine shuts down, and the whole spread stops with it. At a remote plant a generator trips into emergency. In each case the answer is hundreds of miles away, and sending a technician means hours on the road — sometimes days — just to plug in a laptop and find out what is wrong.

A virtual RP1210 adapter

Warp creates an encrypted, point-to-point tunnel between the Dragonfly on the asset and the technician’s computer, and presents a virtual RP1210 interface — from the software’s side, identical to a physical adapter. The manufacturer’s diagnostic software connects as if it were sitting right next to the vehicle. No changes, no adapters, no travel.

What it resolves

From the control room, a technician connects to the stranded truck and forces the filter regeneration: the engine returns to full power. On the generator, the fault is validated and the unit comes back online. And at the well site, remote diagnosis finds the root cause — so the mechanic arrives knowing exactly what to fix, with the right part, in a single trip.

Beyond CAN

Warp works with most diagnostic tools built on the RP1210 standard — DiagnosticLink, INSITE and Electronic Technician among them — with no modifications to the software. And not only CAN: it also encapsulates RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports, so software such as InPower reaches a remote generator as if it were local, recalibration included. With good connectivity it can even update ECMs remotely.
