An industrial-grade telematics gateway that connects any asset, regardless of interface or protocol, and runs emd-OS — a hardened, fully auditable Linux.
Dragonfly connects every asset in an operation, whatever its interfaces or protocols. Connectivity holds through 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth or Ethernet, and the embedded eFlow Manager brings programming flexibility directly to the edge. An integrated battery and supercapacitors keep the device alive through power loss, so no data is lost.
emd-OS
Dragonfly runs on an industrial-grade Qualcomm processor under emd-OS, an operating system built on a customised and hardened Linux kernel. It ships with Secure Boot and dedicated cryptographic hardware, delivering protection at every layer.
emd-OS has been penetration-tested by industry-leading cybersecurity firms and is fully auditable — clients can verify its security independently. Unlike hardware that may carry concealed firmware from third parties, Dragonfly replaces all embedded component firmware with software developed exclusively by emd and validated through client audits.
Software modules
Every Dragonfly ships ready to run the emd software stack: emd-eFlow for edge rules, emd-elog for logging, emd-remote-technician for live CAN access, emd-canguard for continuous recording, and emd-dact for Modbus and CAN acquisition.
